ICAO-Indonesia Developing Countries Training Programme 2012
Overview
The Ministry of Transportation, Republic of Indonesia and ICAO, in January 2008, signed a Management Service Agreement (MSA). The scope of the cooperation is include the agreement to jointly establish a Fellowship Training Programme for Developing Countries with plans to train over 60 (sixty) aviation personnel from ICAO Contracting States in 2012. The objective of this programme is to provide opportunities to individuals from developing countries to gain knowledge to implement ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and to promote the safety and development of international civil aviation.
Terms of Fellowships
The Government of Indonesia will bear the training fees, daily allowance of Three Hundred Thousand Rupiahs (IDR 300,000) and hotel accommodation for participants accepted for the programmes. Complimentary breakfast will be provided at the hotel and lunch at training facilities during training days. Travel arrangements are to be made and costs borne by the nominating Governments.
Hotel accommodation will be provided for the training duration, i.e. one day before course commencement (after 2 pm) and one day after the course (till 12 noon). Daily allowance will be limited to the training duration, i.e. from the start of the course up to the last day of the course. Expenses to be incurred for stay beyond this duration will not be covered. Participants are advised to secure their own overseas travel insurance to cover themselves for the period of the training in Indonesia.
